There is certainly 'beauty' in this beast but a beast it will remain! The Canada Thistle (Cirsium arvense) is one tough ... 'WEED!' I think it will forever remain 'unloved!' Although, I will admit, I do love to photograph them! LOL!
They are pretty! I like to photograph them too, with their spiky leaves and textured flower bases, and their colours, but such a nuisance in the fields and flowerbeds!
ReplyDeleteA nuisance indeed and yet a dear friend's Scottish husband is busy trying to establish them in his flowerbed! I guess he misses the national emblem of Scotland! Blasted Scots ... perhaps they are to blame for the thistle invasion! Haha! Just teasing! :)
